Rev. Dr. Ronné Wingate Sims
Rev. Dr. Ronné Wingate Sims is an ordained Baptist minister and speaker who creates culturally relevant healing spaces for those working through intergenerational and ongoing trauma. She began her undergraduate career at Howard University and later earned a BA in Sociology at California State University East Bay. She earned a Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary in The Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. Doctor of Ministry cohort in African American Centered Religious Thought and Practice. Her doctoral thesis centers healing modalities such as meditation, drumming and dance delivered through a trauma-informed framework within a church context. Dr. Sims is a Healthy Minds Innovations collaborator and meditation teacher for the Healthy Minds Program app.
